Albert Zogaj

Albert Zogaj is a judge in the Supreme Court, civil field. Judge Zogaj graduated on June 30, 2004, from the Faculty of Law at the University of Prishtina, while he completed his post-graduate studies in Civil Law in 2008. From December 2004 to December 2005, he worked as a practitioner in the Kosovo Bar Association. In February 2006, he completed the bar exam and from February 2006 to October 2010, he worked as a lawyer in Peja. In October 2010 he was appointed as judge in the Municipal Court in Prishtina, where he worked until December 2012. From 2013 to 2015 he worked as a judge in the Basic Court in Prishtina in General Department. In August 2015 he was appointed as judge in the Court of Appeals, in Prishtina, in General Department - Civil Division. In September 2020 he was elected a judge in Supreme Court. Since 2008 he has been working as a lecturer at AAB College, at the same time he is a trainer at the Academy of Law, in the initial and continuing program of legal education. He has worked and participated in several professional research-papers with various institutions, such as; the Kosovo Legal Center, the Center for Human Rights of the University of Prishtina and the Kosovo Judicial Institute.
